From Lamma in Birmingham to FIMA in Zaragoza, passing through Fieragricola in Verona: these will be some of the main events that will set the stage, in the first half of 2022, for Landini’s new tractors, with a Made-in-Italy heart and an eye to the future. The brand of Argo Tractors group has entered the new year with the strength of tradition, passion for innovation and a focus on design and the human factor, being interpreted in the new products and services in the range.

6RS Robo-Six Series

One of the main innovations is the new 6RS Robo-Six Stage V Series, designed for customers looking for versatility, performance and comfort. This tractor is ideal for open field work, forage applications, road transport and farm handling.

Stage V emission compliant thanks to the exhaust gas post-treatment system, the range features the 6-135 RS, 6-145 RS and 6-155 RS models, powered by 4.5 litre, 16-valve, 4-cylinder FPT NEF 45 engines, with power outputs of 135hp, 145hp and 155hp. The powertrain and transmission layout allows for a wheelbase of 2,560 mm, providing great stability, and at the same time versatility and manoeuvrability thanks to 55 degree steering angles.

The Robo-Six transmission with 6 Power Shift gears and 4 ranges offers 24 + 24 speeds, which rise to 40 + 40 when the Creeper is fitted. Two pre-programmed working modes optimise engine efficiency: these are Eco and Power, with the first geared towards keeping consumption down and the second focusing on ensuring maximum performance to speed up the completion of the current task. Power output is enhanced by the 4-speed PTO.

The maximum rear wheel size is 650/60R38 and maximum allowed weight is as high as 9,500 kg.

The closed-centre hydraulic system features a 123 l/min pump capable of handling up to 7 spool valves (electronic and mid-mounted ones) and an electronically controlled rear hitch with a maximum capacity of 7,200 kg. The front hitch lifts up to 3,200 kg.

Design, ergonomics, comfort and technology applied to improving working conditions are the other features that make the 6RS Robo-Six the ideal partner in the field and in your farm.

A distinctive feature of the new “Landini High Vision” cab is the FOPS-homologated panoramic roof and the hatch for natural ventilation which enhance the tractor’s performance when using the L40 front loader for bales handling. Also worth mentioning are the LED headlights. Up to 14  headlights are available, 8 of which are incorporated in the roof to provide excellent night vision.

The cab sports a mechanical suspension that, combined with the suspended front axle with independent arms further improves driving comfort.

The cab is designed with high quality automotive-derived materials. The same attention to design and functionality is found in the control instrumentation with its fully ergonomic design, a 12-inch touch screen monitor and all-in-one multifunction joystick.

Great emphasis was placed on adopting solutions that would make tractor maintenance easier. In this context, the new 90-degree opening bonnet and radiators arranged in a fan-shaped layout allow for easy, quick and safe service.

The “Precision Steering Management” system for satellite guidance control and management, the ISOBUS function for tractor and equipment connectivity and the Landini Fleet & Remote Diagnostic Management system work in synergy to maximise the efficiency and profitability of day-to-day operations while keeping operating costs down.

Trekker4

Also to be shown in 2022 is the Stage V-emission compliant Landini Trekker4, equipped with a passive regeneration DPF, a DOC oxidation catalyst and, only for models with over 56 kW of power, the SCR selective emission reduction catalyst and the 10.5-litre AdBlue tank.

The 4-085, 4-095, 4-105, 4-110 and 4-120 models offer power outputs ranging from a minimum of 75hp to a maximum of 112hp.

The same dimensions and height as the Stage IIIB family make the Trekker4 suitable for working in orchards (F version) and mountains (M version). Its style follows the new and appreciated family feeling adopted for the new Landini products.

The most important innovation concerns the platform, which is completely suspended from the wagon and engine compartment. This solution provides total insulation from heat and vibrations, with a clear improvement in comfort. Front and side visibility and ergonomics have been improved, thanks to the optimised driver’s seat and the completely redesigned side control console.

As an option, the new 6-post cab, available with a category 2 filtration system, air conditioning and radio, protects the operator from dust, noise and atmospheric agents all year round.

The 16 + 8 speed transmission operates through a synchro reverse shuttle (a plus compared to the competition) and can be configured with overdrive, to increase

the top speed up to 15 km/h, or alternatively with the Creeper, which allows a minimum speed of 300 metres per hour.

Tracks are available in steel or rubber. In the F version with a track width of 1,100 mm, the semi-lubricated steel tracks range from 310 to 360 mm in width, while in the M version with a track width of 1,300 mm, the same tracks are available in 400 or 450 mm. The rubber soles are 400 mm wide for both versions, with track widths of 1,132 mm in the F model and 1,300 mm in the M model.

The brake pedals are suspended in automotive style and hydraulically controlled, to the benefit of comfort and safety.

The tanks, one at the rear and one at the side, are connected to each other and have a total capacity of 85 litres, thus allowing maximum working autonomy during the day in the field.

The Trekker4 has a dual pump hydraulic circuit, with a 28.5 l/min pump for steering and a 42 l/min pump for managing hitches and spool valves. 3 hydraulic rear spool valves can be added to the basic equipment, but two more can be added as an option for a total of 5, with optional 6 front quick couplers and flow regulator. The rear hitch, further enhanced with respect to the previous version and enriched with the optional ELS, has a maximum load capacity of 3,150 kg in the standard configuration and 4,500 kg when equipped with 2 additional hydraulic cylinders.
