Friday at Your Horse Live is a true learning experience. We’ve brought together a number of famous faces who are poised to share their top training tips with you.
You’ll end the day super inspired, motivated and confident, ready to put all this new knowledge into practice so you can continue to enjoy your horse and have the success you deserve.
Showjumping
Fred Bergendorff, European gold medallist, is in the house to share his secret training plan for jumping success.
Head coach of the Swedish eventing team and an Excel coach for British Showjumping, Fred has a wealth of knowledge and experience, having competed successfully in showjumping and eventing around the world.
Dressage
Charlotte Dujardin is back at the show by very popular demand and we’re delighted to have her with us. Over the past seven years, Charlotte has cinched every title possible riding Valegro, the equine love of her life who is now retired.
They smashed a few world records along the way too. In this exclusive demonstration she’ll be training a number of horse and rider combinations from the group, and sharing her top training tips and advice.
Eventing
Sharon Hunt is a world class eventer who has represented Great Britain at the Olympics, the World Equestrian Games and ridden at Burghley and Badminton.
As an accredited coach for British Eventing and British Showjumping, Sharon is passionate about training riders at all levels.
At Your Horse Live she’ll be revealing her secrets to success on the cross-country course, with simple exercises you can try at home, whether you’re new to eventing or an old hand.
Para dressage
As the most successful para rider in the world, Sir Lee Pearson CBE needs little introduction. With 28 gold medals to his name, 11 of these from the Paralympics as part of Team GB, Lee is an inspiration.
He’s planned a down to earth demo, explaining how he rides and trains with plenty of take-home messages for you to try with your own horse.
M&M Championship
Back at Your Horse Live for the second year, the 20 qualified horses and riders in the SEIB Search for a Star Mountain & Moorland Championship will battle it out for the top spot in the BETA Arena.
The championship was created for horses and ponies not usually able to compete at this level. It has continued to grow in popularity, so much so that this year the class is split into two – large and small breeds.
