All 13 horses and ponies forward for tomorrow’s SEIB Insurance Brokers Search for a Star in-hand championship at Your Horse Live (12-14 November) are bidding for the supreme title. They will be judged by Sarah Chapman and Jack Moore.
Each animal has already been crowned a Search for a Star champion earlier this year or at last November’s Your Horse Virtually Live. View the line-up below.
This Shetland pony will be presented by Bobbi Shepherd.
This equine will be presented by Laura Rose, from Redcar in North Yorkshire.
This Connemara pony will be exhibited by Heather Liley.
Owned by Selina Bowles, this 24-year-old Welsh section B — who will also appear in the amateur veteran final at Your Horse Live — will be presented by Millie Bowles.
This Shetland pony will be travelling all the way to Stoneleigh Park in Warwickshire from Falkirk in Scotland with his handler Hannah Baxter.
This ex-racehorse won £116,000 during his career on the track for trainer David Arbuthnot, and retired as an eight-year-old.
He will be shown at Your Horse Live by Dawn Bacchus, who also competes Desert Sea in medium-level dressage.
This mare was bred by her handler, Sally Dodsworth, and her damline goes back to Quorum, who sired Red Rum.
This part-bred Irish Draught will be presented by Lynsey Benson.
This grey horse’s exhibitor, Melanie Tegg, has only ever owned greys since she was a child and she works as a commercial negotiator for Xerox.
This heavyweight cob will be presented by Alice Hughes.
Exhibited by Leander Walton, this veteran is AES registered.
This British Riding Pony will be shown by Shannon Down.
Teddy and his owner/exhibitor, Sam Lambert, are members of the Thorny and Southport Riding for the Disabled Association at Bowlers Riding School.
The duo also enjoys showjumping, dressage and enjoy hacking and beach rides.
Also running on Friday are the championships for the SEIB Search for a Star mountain and moorland, plus open and amateur veterans.
